Cevalo Riding Academy is an educational non-profit organization that offers riding lessons for children and adults, day camps, and other equestrian activities and community outreach programs.
Our primary purpose is to educate the community about horses, and to provide a safe environment for children and adults to learn horsemanship, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
Cevalo is a cooperative environment where members are active participants in day to day operations and have a strong voice in the programs and services that are offered. By working together, we can preserve convenient, affordable access to equestrian activities in the Bay Area.
Our riding stable is currently located about 20 minutes South of Hwy 85 and Almaden Expressway in San Jose. The facility features a lighted sand arena that is groomed daily, a hay barn and tack up area, and paddocks and pastures for our 23 horses. It's on Croy Rd in Morgan Hill, which is the road that leads to Uvas Canyon County Park. You go past Calero Reservoir and a bit South of where McKean Rd turns into Uvas Rd. Map & Directions.
